Edie Campbell has been unveiled as the face of Kurt Geiger's latest campaign. 

Kurt Geiger's Spring Summer 2017 collection is inspired to look to the new year as a fresh start and see the world through rose coloured glasses and the lens of ‘love, magic and enchantment.’ The campaign shot by Erik Torstensson, stars British model Edie Campbell as the heroine of Kurt Geiger’s fashion fairy-tale.

"Throughout the collection excess is unapologetic in the form of crystal embellishment, exaggerated bows, an abundance of pearls and vintage-inspired hand sewn appliques. A tiny glitter bag in the shape of a heart can be worn as jewellery, with platform wedges so high your head will be in the clouds!" says Creative Director, Rebecca Farrar-Hockley.

The collection sees decadent fabrics with rich silk satin, Italian grosgrain, suede and soft calf leather. A pretty colour palette of English rose, rich berry, khaki and midnight blue clash alongside hot pinks and bright fuchsia. Blending casual with formal, the realms of day and eveningwear are distorted to create statement shoes designed to be cherished and worn everyday.

With Spring brings nature, which Rebecca chose to celebrate through pretty oriental prints and hand sewn floral embellished appliques. Humming birds, eagles and swallow motifs adorn chain shoulder bags, backless slippers, luxe summer sliders and Kurt Geiger's iconic fashion sneakers.

"I had a lot of fun dressing up for this shoot and loved the statement pieces chosen by Rebecca. The collection is all about an element of surprise and an escape from the everyday - which seems to perfectly embody the new mood for Spring." says Edie Campbell.
